Men's 9" Steel Toe Logger Brown - 1740

Edit- I've had these for just over 6 months and the sole on one heel has peeled away 😭 Like I said in my original review, I'm a groundskeeper and work 50 hours per week, so I'm a bit dismayed that they didn't make it a year, especially since I take such care not to saturate them when working wet projects, but it is what it is I suppose! They have been very comfortable BUT I have developed a weird callous on the inside of each foot at the ball of my foot so that's weird. Soles have worn down and I've had to tighten the screws 3 times. I will say they're hard to tighten if you don't catch them in time because the screws are such cheap metal that half the head will grind off as you walk on hard surfaces so it requires frequent inspection otherwise you won't be able to screw them. Soles have good rubber but couldn't stand up to my tread pattern so they're not level any more. I'm approaching a bald spot in the center of the main sole so that sucks. My overall point, I wish these were a bit cheaper for how little use I've gotten out of them. They have been VERY comfortable and only took 3 days to break in. Steel toes have saved me from a couple near misses with equipment and the leather has held up okay. Very cheaply made as far as the sole attachment goes, quite the disappointment. Slightly snug fit but that means they'll be perfect once broken in. I'm used to a 6.5 inch boot so this'll be a bit of an adjustment for me as I was already irritated by the rubbing on my shins, but again, this is day one. The sole feels extremely sturdy to the point that I thought there must have been a support bar. Really excited to see how these do in the coming weeks. I'm not in love with them, but for the price point I'll change my review to 5 stars if they hold up past 6 weeks. Be back soon with an update!
